So I've been working on this personal project of mine based off this old Russian folk tale. This is the first initial concept painting I've done related to the story. I plan to work on it a little more still. Anyway, this is supposed to be the huge cavern where the villain lives in a citadel built into a giant stalactite/stalagmite formation.
